Heritage Peach Teapot

Loose black tea leaves swirling in boiling water promise a deeply comforting afternoon in the parlour. We throw this generous, round-bellied teapot on the wheel to hold enough heat for a long visit with a good friend. The stout shape pours beautifully, and the sturdy fitted lid keeps your brew piping hot while you chat. Across the speckled surface of our Canadian clay, I hand-paint a cheerful scattering of blushing valley peaches, each complete with a crisp sage green leaf. A soft wash of warm terracotta glaze trims the edge of the lid to frame the orchard pattern. It looks right at home resting on a crocheted table mat beside a vintage tin of your favourite tea blend.

Every single teapot receives careful individual attention from our small team in the studio. I paint each fruit by hand to capture the warm earthy hues of the local orchard harvest. Please allow two to three weeks for us to shape, attach the spout and handle, paint, and kiln-fire your new piece. When your order is ready to travel, we rely on our strict careful boxing standard. Your pottery sits snug in its inner paper wrap and then floats safely inside a larger sustainable cardboard box for the journey to your home.
